Our team is somewhat tiny…but we are mighty! (Yep, we just did that…but it’s true). In addition to all of our incredible fans, the folks who make up the Tiny But Mighty Popcorn team are the heart and soul of our company. Passionate, fun-loving, hard-working, honest and good people – most of whom are our family. Heck, even those not related by blood we absolutely consider family.
We value our team, we love our work, and we believe in what we do.
Farmer Gene is the modern-day farming mastermind behind our ancient heirloom seed. A third-generation family farmer, he began farming on his own in 1973, and in the late 1980’s began farming organically. Since becoming the owner and caretaker of Tiny But Mighty Popcorn in the late 90’s, Gene has realized his dream of sharing good food with the masses. Gene enjoys spending his free time with his sons, grandchildren and his lovely wife, Lynn, and is an avid (and talented!) golfer and an ace on the drums. Rock on, Farmer Gene!
Lynn manages office operations at the farm for Tiny But Mighty, and has her hand in everything from production to order fulfillment to events and design. She is Farmer Gene’s loving wife of 42 years, mother to their four wonderful boys and grandmother to their three grandchildren. Like Farmer Gene, Lynn was born & raised in Iowa. Previous to her work with the popcorn, she worked as a teacher and office manager, and is to this day a cake baker / decorator extraordinaire. She loves being able to work with her family and is so proud of how far Tiny But Mighty has come.
